How Does HIFU Work?

HIFU emits ultrasound energy under the skin, through all the skin layers which stimulates the collagen production. HIFU has been found to be a highly effective firming, tightening and lifting the facial treatment – and can even help to reduce excess skin elsewhere on the body.

Collagen – a natural protein – is what gives skin that youthful firmness and tightness. Collagen stores are depleted with age and collagen also loses strength and structure. This is how gravity begins to take its toll on the skin. HIFU helps the skin to produce new collagen which encourages the repair process.

And now, Lynton Lasers have cleverly combined the near-magic power of HIFU with ANOTHER skin experts’ favourite, Radio Frequency Microneedling (RMF) to create the Focus Dual.
