Are you a health care practitioner needing Hepatitis B or a soon to be University student needing the meningitis vaccine?  A L Medical can help.

Routine immunisations often get missed for many reasons or need repeating for one reason or another. 

Online assessment for suitability and in clinic immunisations can be performed for;

Hepatitis B. – Course of 3 required £55 each

Hepatitis often spread by blood or bodily fluids.  It is advised that all adults age 19-59 should have this vaccination if lifestyle or occupation makes them likely to be at higher risk of transmission

Measles Mumps & Rubella (MMR) Course of 2 required £55 each

Usually given between 9m and 15m with the second dose at 15m to 6years.  Measles Mumps and Rubella are vaccine preventable viral disease that have the potential to cause harm.  It is advised that all University Students are up to date with the MMR before the start of term.

Varicella (Chicken Pox) Course of 2 required £75 each

Varicella Zoster, also known as chickenpox, is a common viral infection usually caught in childhood. It’s highly contagious and is spread through coughing, sneezing, and direct contact. To protect those who are most vulnerable to chickenpox, the vaccine to healthcare workers, laboratory workers in direct contact with the virus, and those who are in close contact with someone with a weakened immune system.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Course of 3 doses if not vaccinated before age 15y £155 each

HPV is a very common sexually transmitted infection which usually causes no symptoms.  The HPV vaccine protects against the types of HPV that cause most cases of genital warts and cervical cancer, as well as some cancers of the mouth and throat and some cancers of the anus and genital area.

Available on NHS until age 25y if eligible

MenACWY single dose £80

Meningococcal disease is a rare, but life-threatening, disease caused by meningococcal bacteria. New university students are at higher risk of the disease than other people of the same age because many of them mix closely with lots of new people

The MenACWY vaccine can prevent three of the four most common forms of meningococcal disease in the UK
