At AL Medical Aesthetics and Wellness, we NEVER rest on our laurels. We constantly strive to learn and improve, to develop our skills and add valuable new ones. This is to ensure we can always offer the absolute best in terms of treatment and service to our patients – and according to our reviews, over 400 of them, all of which are 5 stars, it’s a good strategy.

We spoke in last month’s blog about how we’ve developed and grown the business, and how we reach out to other local businesses to support us. That way, we can concentrate on what we do. Another good strategy – plus, it’s ALWAYS good to use local businesses and to support the local economy.

Aesthetics and Wellness: Trust the Experts

Here, in our purpose-built, CQC-registered clinic nestled discreetly within a pleasant residential part of Bramhall, we are proud to boast many relevant qualifications and accreditations – as well as the vital insurances.

You’ll benefit from a professional and high-end clinical environment, where we deliver a comprehensive medical wellness offering, and a reassuringly hygienic and expert aesthetic and skincare service. Don’t ever trust your face and your skin – the largest organ of the human body – with anything less. Despite that clinical environment and the red-carpet level of treatments, the welcome is always down to earth and the treatments accessible.

AL Medical Aesthetics and Wellness Offer More

Amy established AL Medical Aesthetics and Wellness as Aspect of Beauty, before rebranding to reflect the wider medical and wellness services in 2020. As our patient list grew and grew, Lyndsay joined AL, focussing on skincare, and now Amy’s husband Stuart is on board, too. Stu will manage and oversee all non-clinical aspects of the business, including continued CQC and Save Face compliance. Save Face is a national register of Accredited practitioners. Our shiny, brand-new website is almost ready to launch, too.

Meet Stu – Mr AL Medical Wellness!

As a vastly experienced NMC registered NHS nurse prescriber, you’re in safe hands with Amy and AL. She says: “imparting my knowledge and expertise to see individuals flourish and confidence grow makes this job a passion. We aim to make you look and feel the best version of you, I treat your concerns and educate you about the best treatment options available to you. I encourage all clients to attend for a free full consultation prior to any treatments.”

Health and Wellbeing Festival Vibes

What else is happening at AL? We are featuring at UFEST on 30th June at Stock Farm, in the middle of beautiful Cheshire countryside, on Tatton Estate land in Ashley, near Hale. We’ll be talking about all our health services, such as Well Man and Well Woman checks and our mole screening service. We’ll also be introducing our new Remote GP facility.

UFEST is a health and wellbeing festival which the organisers say is designed to promote confidence and encourage personal growth and overall wellness for a healthy life for both men and women:

“At UFEST, we’re all about celebrating the things that contribute to your overall health, wellbeing, self-care and mental health. It’s not just an event – it’s a movement to promote self-care, good health and raise awareness about mental health support. In fact,10% of every ticket sale will be donated to BeeU Mental Health Charity, helping them continue their invaluable work. In these times, mental health awareness matters more than ever, and together, we can make a difference.”

Medical and Wellness Made Easy

With many people still reporting major difficulties getting appointments with their doctor’s surgery, we’re excited to start offering our Remote GP service – we know it’s going to be a very welcome addition. We already help many patients with blood tests, and mole screening – our mole screen results come back quickly. Happily, this is a pleasing reassurance for most patients. For those who do need further investigation and subsequent treatment, this can be a welcome head start and avoid some waiting time.

Talking of mole screening, this is a good time to remind everyone of the importance of sunscreen. Yes, a high SPF is recommended for the face to avoid sun damage and some premature ageing, lines, and wrinkles. However, it’s also crucial to use sunscreen on ANY exposed skin – not forgetting the back of the neck and the top of the ears. Many skin cancers are preventable. Nobody should be getting sunburn. No excuses.
