Mole / Skin Lesion Removal (Cryopen)
What is Cryopen Treatment for Lesion Removal?
Cryopen treatment, also known as cryotherapy, is a minimally invasive procedure used to remove benign skin lesions. As we age, various skin growths can appear, including warts, skin tags, and age spots.
How does Cryogen Treatment work?
Cryopen treatment involves applying nitrous oxide to the lesion, rapidly freezing the abnormal tissue. This causes the cells to crystallise and rupture, leading to their destruction. As the area thaws, the damaged cells are naturally shed, allowing new, healthy skin to form in its place.
